Lynn started her acupuncture practice in 2004 and has been continually serving the Quad Cities ever since. Starting with acupuncture Lynn discovered therapeutic grade natural essential oils, Cupping, Ear Candling, and Amethyst Crystal BioMat therapy to complement her acupuncture.
Lynn earned her bachelors degree in Psychology from University of Iowa then pursued her graduate studies at the Midwest College of Oriental Medicine in Chicago earning a Masters of Science in Oriental Medicine. She is certified by the National Certification Commitee for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and is licenced as an Acupuncturist by the Iowa State Board of Medical Examiners. She has been practicing acupuncture and Oriental medicine for 17 years and has served as the Vice President of the Iowa Association of Oriental Medicine and Acupuncture. Lynn also offers Reflexology, Acupressure, Cupping and Ear Candling as a part of her services.
In addition, Lynn has a talent for explaining what her technique can do to address the patient’s various concerns. She is thorough and unhurried in her treatments so that the patient is able to receive the maximun benefits from their treatment. At the conclusion of a treatment, most experience a sense of well-being and find themselves incredibly relaxed. While some may find that they are unsure of the needles used in acupuncture, it is important to know that the needles are extremely thin and Lynn has a very gentle touch. Also, as an alternative to using needles, Lynn can offer Acupressure (using one’s fingertips on the pressure points) and/or Reflexology, as well as Cupping. Feel free to contact Lynn to learn more about the benefits of acupuncture.
